This place is so amazing. They are so welcoming and just so generous. Even on busy days they ALWAYS take their time. I wouldn't trade them for any other salon ever !
I went there to get my nails done took an hour wait until a woman came to do them. I asked for coffin nails with a purple chrome powder, I have coffin-ish nails. They are all different sizes and really bad. The chrome powder is a light pink almost salmon color and see through. It took a 2 and a half hours to get my nails done and get out of there. Me and my mom went her clear coat is already peeling off and we went today it's only been 4 hours. She told me after that the powder is really expensive and I ended up wasting money. We're going to go and get our nails fixed at our old place, and see what they can do. We regret going there, we are deeply disappointed.
Of the many times that I have come here to receive a pedicure, this is the one time that I was completely dissatisfied and will not be coming back again. I arrived on a Friday evening and had to wait an hour for someone to just turn on the water for my feet. (I had to ask for that by the way and no soap soak either) 10 min into the pedicurist cleaning my feet I asked her if I can get what I came in for and that was the paraffin wax. She told me I could not get it because they close in 15min. Mind you I had to wait an hour. There was not an apology nor we can give you a discount on the next service. I have always liked the pedicurist here at Jenny's and love Jenny's professionalism, but I have never experienced a service where the stylist picked the service that she wanted to give because of the store closing.
I made an appointment and the woman (who I believe owns the salon) was basically pushing me out of the door because they wanted to leave early or something. It has only been 5 days and my gel manicure and pedicure are already chipping. 4 of my fingers and 2 of my toes were bleeding when I left because of how rough they were. It was horrible.
I went to go get a gel manicure and they messed it up completly. They ended up looking super matte and bubbly on all of my fingers. They looked gross. The lady also rushed it because two people came in and I guess she didn't want them to wait so she rushed on me. Also, as I was checking out, they gave me the wrong change. I was short $10 and the cashier said it, "You got a discount for paying cash." I had to pull out my calculator just to make sure that I wasn't wrong. And he did end up giving me the wrong change. He gave me the right change back. So to anyone who checks out, be sure to count your change because who knows if they're scamming people or if this was just a common mistake.
**** After posting my review, I did speak with the male owner (Jenny was not there this evening) and told him the issue. He did comp my service and apologized for not receiving the service I came in for. Jenny and some of the other pedicurist are great, the stylist this evening did not perform to the professionalism as the others.
